My ink and watercolor paintings are a celebration of wild nature, a study of the delicate structures and tangled rhythms of the botanical world. Each piece begins with a sometimes wild and impulsive ink painting. I add salt for texture and work in layers of watercolor and acrylic paint. Together, these layers bring movement, atmosphere, and feeling. Light and texture emerge naturally from controlled chaos.
Through this combination of control and fluidity, I explore the harmony between structure and spontaneity. The result is a body of work that honors the beauty of imperfection and the living pulse of the natural world.

ANIMAL PORTRAITURE
My animal portraits (painted in oil or watercolor) explore the presence and personality of the creatures that share our world. I build each painting through layered color and texture. This captures not just the surface likeness but the living energy beneath.
These portraits are less about depiction and more about relationship. Each animal, whether wild or domestic, is rendered with a sense of empathy and a strong recognition of their individuality and spirit.
